Filenames, recipients, subject lines, and message content are never written to the database. Job progress is held in server memory for the life of the job and goes away with the files.
If you create an account, the only stored row is your email address, an aggregate count of conversions, and your plan.
There is no per-conversion audit trail, so there is no history to export, disclose, or breach. It also means we cannot recover a job once it expires, which is the trade-off: save the ZIP to your own document store as soon as you download it.
Attachments are extracted and written byte for byte as their original files, in a folder beside the body PDF. They are never rendered into the PDF, re-encoded, or watermarked, so their evidentiary form and hash values survive the conversion.
Free conversions are watermarked so you can judge the output on your own files. Pro removes the watermark and the cap.
Some matters rule out sending discovery to a third party, whatever the retention policy says. EML Exhibit also runs as a Docker image inside your own infrastructure, using the same renderer as the hosted service.
